About

Third-year Mechanical Engineering student at Northeastern University, looking for a co-op from January to June 2027.

At DuPont Water Solutions, I rewrote a standard ultrafiltration skid drawing set in Autodesk Inventor, adapted it into the first custom build, and released 14 drawing sheets through Autodesk Vault. Right now, I'm assembling an SO-101 robot arm and redesigning its leader handle in SolidWorks.

I'm most interested in R&D and product design.

Experience

Where I've Worked

DuPont Water Solutions (MemCor)

Jan 2026 – Jun 2026

Mechanical Engineering Co-op | Marlborough, MA

  • Rewrote the standard MR4 quad-rack drawing set to Revision 1 in Autodesk Inventor, after the maintained set had drifted to parts the company no longer bought, and presented the changes to a ten-person engineering department for approval.
  • Adapted that baseline into its first custom build, a set of ultrafiltration membrane skids released at Revision 0 after redline review.
  • Released 14 drawing sheets to manufacturing through Autodesk Vault, owning bills of material of several hundred line items.

All drawings referenced above are the property of DuPont and are not reproduced here.

Projects

What I've Built

SO-101 Teleoperated Robot Arm

2-person team | Sep 2026 – present

I assembled both arms of the open-source SO-101 as the team's mechanical engineer. The leader arm's trigger drives the gripper 1:1, and I measured its 111° stroke as the baseline for an ergonomic redesign.

The stock handle strains the thumb, so I designed a tool-free magnetic interface in SolidWorks that makes the handle modular. Torque goes through a drafted square boss, and the first print seated as designed.

Biomimetic Fog Harvesting

Team project | Jan 2025 – May 2025

We built a passive fog collector modeled on the Namib desert beetle's shell. Raised bumps were coated with TiO2 and the valleys sealed, to copy the wetting contrast that makes droplets form and run off. Across four prototypes in SolidWorks, the third, a PLA+ funnel, collected about 40% more water than the second.

I owned the analysis. Four 30-minute trials averaged 5.5 mL, and I benchmarked the output in MATLAB against 11 plant water categories. The estimate was that the design could support 5 of them.

Suez Canal Obstruction Model

4-person team | Sep 2024 – Dec 2024

An interactive game about the 2021 Ever Given grounding, built for middle-school students. I designed the Arduino control system. A potentiometer drives a servo through a linkage so players rotate the stuck ship, and an RGB light changes with the servo position.

I also ran the project schedule. The model was housed in laser-cut and 3D-printed parts.
